Foundation of Turn Based System and Inventory System


HI, another update on the progress. I changed up the player and enemy movement to be much quicker, so now you can hold down a button to continuously move so in a way the turn based system will be semi turn based but bare in mind that each step the player takes still counts as a turn but I still prefer this semi turn based movement as it makes the pacing of the game much quicker. I also decided to work on an Inventory System so that the player can store 3 types of items: Weapons, Abilities and Items.  I will talk about Weapons on the next update. I'm focussing on creating the foundation of the inventory and then I will implement weapons. The last thing I will mention is that I will be changing the name of the game, I created an Instagram account that will contain all the small design updates but the word Manic "Malware" triggered a temporary suspension of the account, so I will temporarily call the game "Project Debug" until a permanent name is decided.
